Pedro Matias was born in 1984 in Lisbon, Portugal. Pedro lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Pedro aims to contextualize and facilitate new tanks of alternative knowledge ~ spaces that raise from the familiar and the personal ~ fragmented and informed by the multiplicity of queer identities. Pedro attempts to facilitate liquid, fluid and caring supportive systems and structures, as support of agitation, turbulence, instability ~ empowering the queer (human and more-than-human) potential for political action. Against fixity and stagnation Pedro searches for performativity in matter and its agency while longing for a utopian intimate-liquid-soft-fluid futurity.
